ABOUT US

I started learning my craft in 1980 at Matzke’s Sewing Center in Rochester, Minnesota. Factory training from Viking and Riccar started that year. We were servicing 200-300 machines a month; this was invaluable training because repetition is critical in gaining expertise in servicing sewing machines.
In 1981 we added Bernina and shortly thereafter we added Pfaff. In the years that followed I attended many sewing machine dealer conventions (ISMDA… Independent Sewing Machine Dealers Association) gaining knowledge in the service of many other well known brands (Singer, Kenmore, White etc.).
In 1998, I purchased Matzke’s in Miracle Mile. After 9 years we closed our store for me to focus strictly on repairing and servicing machines.
I hope to be doing this for many more years as I really enjoy returning to the customer a well adjusted, smooth running sewing machine.
